Little Silver Board of Education · General Election, November 3, 2026
Working Better Together
Christina Skove, Peter Demato, and Adam Feigenbaum are running for the Little Silver Board of Education — three neighbors, each individually committed to our schools.
Little Silver's schools work best when the people overseeing them communicate, listen, and follow through on what they promise. Christina, Peter, and Adam are running because the decisions facing our district — budgets, staffing, and facilities — deserve a board that pulls in the same direction.
We care deeply about Little Silver's schools and the future of our children. We're not running as a slate, but we are running together because we believe a strong Board of Education is built on a diversity of experience, perspectives, and skills. Different strengths at the table make for a stronger board and a town in the best position to succeed.

An advertising technology executive who's spent her career negotiating partnerships with global brands, agencies, and media companies — now bringing that same communicator's discipline to how the board talks with families.
An attorney who has spent his career learning to see every side of a complicated issue, Peter brings that same pragmatic, thoughtful approach to the Little Silver Board of Education.
A corporate executive for nearly 20 years, with years more spent serving on nonprofit boards, Adam now brings that same practical, collaborative approach to financial stewardship for our schools.

I have proudly called Little Silver home since 2016 and am the mother of a 10-year-old son who will attend Markham Place School this fall. As both a parent and longtime volunteer, I believe strong schools are built through active partnerships among families, educators, administrators, and the community.
Since my son was in Pre-K, I have dedicated my time to supporting Little Silver schools by serving in leadership roles with both the Educational Foundation of Little Silver (EFLS) and the PTO. I have served on the Executive Board of each organization as Treasurer, Auction Chair, and 5K event lead, helping raise over $1 million for classroom programs that affect thousands of Little Silver students over my tenure. These experiences have given me firsthand insight into our district's strengths, challenges, and opportunities.
Professionally, I work in the advertising technology industry, and I've made community involvement a priority alongside a full-time career — because I believe it's one of the most important responsibilities of parenthood.
I am running for the Board of Education because I believe strong schools require more than academic excellence. They require trust, transparency, and a genuine commitment to listening to educators, families, and community members. Board decisions affect students and families every day, and I understand that firsthand.
I will bring a fresh perspective, a record of service, and a commitment to thoughtful leadership that puts students first. I am proud to be running alongside Adam and Pete under a simple but powerful principle: Working Better Together. By strengthening collaboration among the Board, administration, teachers, parents, and the broader community, we can ensure Little Silver schools continue to thrive for current and future generations.
“Strong schools are built on trust, transparency, and partnership. My goal is simple: listen closely, serve with integrity, and put students first in every decision.”

Meet the candidate
Peter Demato
Little Silver resident since 2020
Parent to Teddy & Ruth
Attorney
I have had the privilege of living in Little Silver since 2020. My wife, Lauren, and I are the proud parents of two Little Silver students—a son in Second Grade and a daughter about to enter Kindergarten. Our schools are one of the best things about our community, and that's why I'm running for the Board of Education: to contribute to their continued growth and excellence.
During my time in Little Silver, I have volunteered as a coach for the Little Silver recreational flag football and soccer programs and the Junior Bucs wrestling team. My wife, Lauren, has also volunteered with the Little Silver PTO. These experiences have allowed me to meet many of the students and parents in our community—which, in turn, has strengthened my drive to give back.
Professionally, I work as an antitrust lawyer in New York. That background has trained me to be pragmatic and thoughtful, and to understand both sides of even the most complicated issues—a skill I'll bring to the Board. Alongside a demanding career, I've stayed committed to volunteering and spending time in this community.
The strength of our schools lies in the people who make up our school community. If elected, I want to support our administrators, teachers, and staff in building on their historic success, listen closely to the perspectives of parents, students, and the broader community, and lead with complete transparency—always considering questions or concerns with an open mind.
I am proud to be running alongside Adam and Christina because we all believe that the success of our schools requires a team effort, which is why our guiding principle is Working Better Together. I hope to meet many of you between now and Election Day, and I would be honored to have your support.

Meet the candidate
Adam Feigenbaum
Little Silver resident since 2015
Parent to Shea and Molly
Chief Revenue Officer, Board Exec
I'm running for the Little Silver Board of Education because our schools are one of our community's greatest strengths, and I believe thoughtful leadership can help keep them that way for years to come. My wife, Lori, and I have been proud to call Little Silver home since 2015 as we raise our two daughters, Shea (10) and Molly (8). Like so many families, we were attracted to Little Silver for its schools, and we've experienced firsthand the positive impact our teachers, staff, and schools have had on our children. Now, I hope to give back by helping ensure that future generations of Little Silver families have the same opportunities ours has enjoyed.
Professionally, I spent nearly 20-years as an executive at NJ-based iCIMS leading both Sales & Service and have since served on both corporate and nonprofit boards, including the past 7-years as a Founding Board Member and Fundraising Chair for Rutgers Center for Women in Business. For me, the common thread has been helping organizations make thoughtful financial decisions, plan for the long term, and work collaboratively to solve challenges. I will bring that same practical, collaborative approach to serving on our Board of Education.
If elected, my focus will be on protecting what's working while planning for what's next. That means providing responsible financial stewardship, strengthening communication with both school families and residents without children in the district, and keeping students at the center of every decision.
I believe the best decisions come from listening to different perspectives and working together — which is why I'm proud to run alongside Christina and Pete under a simple principle: Working Better Together. By building on the strong foundation our schools have today, we can preserve the excellence that prepares every child for success, keep Little Silver a community that attracts new families and strengthens neighborhood connections, and help sustain the value of our homes. I'd be honored to bring that commitment to the Board of Education and would greatly appreciate your support this November.
“Our schools are one of Little Silver’s greatest strengths. My goal will be to protect what makes them exceptional, prepare them for the future, and accomplish both through strengthening the partnership between our schools and our community.”
